Diaper-Free Day 2

Bella ROCkS!! But, we already knew that. Today was a HUGE success!! Bella used her potty 3 times!! Yay!!!

"Pee-pee goes in the potty," I say, practically between every breath...

Today, feeling slightly ambitious in my motherly role, I started potty training Bella, who is now 16 months. I'm aware that potty training is not for the weak, but I'm also eager to slash our $150 or more-a-month diaper bill and minimize our large contribution to the local landfill. I'm on a mission and I'm willing to devote my time & attention for the joy it will bring us in the long run. Lately, Bella's been letting me know when she goes in her diaper, so I'm taking that as a sign of "readiness" from my miniature recruit. It's been a long day of fun already, but I figure what can we lose in trying it out. Besides, I kinda enjoy a new challenge! Ask me how I feel about it in a week! LOL
