Gavin is 4 lb, 11 oz. now!! They are taking the feeding tube out tomorrow & getting our BiG Boy ready to go home!!!

GiRLs just wanna have FuN!

Surprise!!! Lydia & Karyl showed up at our door this week! We are all so happy to be together! Our house is full of giggles and the pitter patter of little feet! Bella is enjoying being constantly entertained by her cousin! Were hoping that Friday, Tommy will have Gavin to help him balance all the females that are currently out numbering him in the house!

1 mOnTh oLD!!!!

Gavin's Neonatologist said the target date for sending him home is next Friday! We love Fridays!!! Gavin also downed his first entire 40cc bottle today! Yay!

One more step closer to hOmE!!!

Gavin is doing awesome! It's his first day out of the incubator and in an open crib and he hasn't had any trouble regulating his temp! He is 4 lb. 7 oz, which is a full pound above his birth weight!! His last & final goal before being able to go home is being able to drink all his feedings from a bottle. He's up to 13 out of 35cc each feed!

Small Wonder, Day 24

This week, Gavin is up to eating a third of his feedings from a bottle!

Gavin made it to 4 pounds today!!!!! He looks way too healthy & happy to be in the NICU! Come home soon Baby Boy!!

Handsome Hunk, Day 22

Today, Gavin had a 2nd ultrasound of his head and this one also showed that his brain has no bleeding and looks perfectly normal! He continues to eat & digest well, and gain weight steadily! Gavin has had absolutely no setbacks, which is amazing! So full speed ahead!

Gavin is 3 weeks old!!!

Our little boy is 3 weeks old already!!! He is now 3lb, 13 oz, and should be coming home in about 3 more weeks since he continues to do so well! I am thrilled to think he will be home with us to celebrate my BiG Birthday!!! Yay!!


Today, Gavin got a special visit from his Nana & they were able to have some cuddle time together!
